As part of the festivities commemorating the bicentenary of the death of Napoleon, we will welcome the descendant of Maréchal Murat, Prince Joachim Murat.
Maréchal Murat, who also was Grand Duke of Berg, and then King of Naples, fought side-by-side with the Emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte, in numerous battles.
His great – great grandson will come and set the record straight concerning facts and truths about his ancestor at the conference which he named: “Napoleon and Murat, crossed destinies and the making of posterity.”
Prince Joachim Murat is the son of the family head, the 8th Prince Murat. He is also, as Crown Prince, Prince of Pontecorvo.
